The heart of the switch is a high-quality Realtek integrated circuit (RTL8372N & RTL8221B), which is responsible for fast and smooth data transmission. With support for 2.5Gb and 10Gb ports, the device easily handles intensive network traffic – whether it’s working with large files, online gaming, or streaming high-definition video.

One device, many ports.

The CM753 is equipped with 5 RJ45 ports (Registered Jack, a connector used in wired computer networks, allowing data transmission in local networks) with a bandwidth of 2.5Gb, and one SFP+ port 10Gb (Enhanced Small Form-Factor Pluggable, an improved version of the SFP connector, enabling data transmission at speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second). This configuration allows for flexible network management and integration with both consumer-grade devices and professional networking equipment. The SFP+ port supports RJ45 and LC (Lucent Connector, a type of fiber optic connector) transceivers, automatically adjusting to speeds of 1G/2.5G/10Gb.

Three operating modes for flexible configuration

The switch offers three operating modes so you can customize it to your preferences. Standard mode is a classic connection of all ports in one network. VLAN mode allows for the creation of separate virtual LANs (Local Area Networks) and protection against network storms. Meanwhile, the link aggregation feature enables the connection of two ports to increase bandwidth or create a backup connection. Switching between modes is quick and does not require advanced configuration.
